Looking up from my laptop and out the window on the left, all I see is a heavy grey sky and some snow, rain... lots of rain today...

We were inside at the Raritan Convention Center, admiring an outstanding display of colorful flowers and landscaped arrangements for outdoor living at the annual New Jersey Flower and Garden Show. Local landscapers and vendors spent four days (Monday until Thursday morning, we were told) to magically turn the warehouse convention space into an interactive still-life filled with manicured green grass, trees, exotic flora, water ponds and mulch all to stimulate the senses. As we strolled though stone paths and over curved bridges, we stopped to browse the numerous displays of award winning artistic floral renderings by the various garden clubs, individuals and children alike.
