Ah, the last days of summer...

The day was perfect... light breeze, blue sky and no traffic. We headed down to the Jersey shore one more time en route to enjoy the company of dear friends. A boat ride upon arrival kicked the afternoon into gear. After a scrumptious dinner, we decided to take a walk on the beach just as the sun was beginning to set. Such a picturesque time of day, we encountered some unexpected delights of inspirational value. Here, have a look...
When summer gathers up her robes of glory, And, like a dream, glides away.
~ Sarah Helen Whitman
Find your starfish. Throw them gently and wisely back into the sea so they may live.  Making a difference, you will Live! ~ Hawaiian proverb
Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
In summer, the song sings itself. ~William Carlos Williams
Just a few more days, according to the calendar anyway. Let us enjoy before the winds fall a spectrum of autumn splendor... xoxo-Sonya
